Surprise! I’m pregnant! And it’s a girl! If you read this blog with any kind of regularity (thank you by the way) and have wondered where the heck I’ve been, well I’ve been pregnant. I’m still pregnant, and will be until sometime in late March. But I can finally manage more than just keeping myself and my other 2 daughters alive.
Baby Number Three, Trials & Tribulations
If you are one of those people that enjoys being pregnant, or maybe doesn’t enjoy it but doesn’t get sick, you will not understand this section. I am so happy for you and kind of hate you at the same time. That is definitely a kidding/not kidding kind of statement.
I won’t torture you with all the gory details, but let’s just say that for 8 weeks I did little more than throw up and watch Grey’s Anatomy all day, plus one rather long trip to the ER to try to get rehydrated. In case you’re wondering, I did get sick with my previous two pregnancies, but this one has definitely been the worst.
I really am so thankful to be feeling better, and thankful for a husband who totally stepped up his game with the house/cooking/kids while I was MIA. We are so excited to meet this sweet little girl, and her big sisters can’t wait either.
Moving Forward
It feels a lot like I am coming out of a fog that 3 months of my life disappeared into, but things are starting to get rolling around here again. I have had some meetings with new design clients this week and hopefully can share some of what I’m working on for them with you guys. Of course, the holidays are upon us, and I hope to get some decorating done this weekend. You will probably see more holiday decor from me on Instagram than here, so make sure to follow me over there if you want to see!
I hope to also get some Christmas shopping done this week, and last year I put together a couple of gift guides for guys that seemed to be helpful. Check out the first post and the second post if you need some ideas!
