The nursery reveal has been a long time coming. 6 months ago we found out that we were having our third girl and the nursery planning began! I knew I wanted to do something more bold and vibrant than a typical nursery. Babies certainly don’t have an opinion, and I wanted the space to feel like me since I would be spending a lot of time in the room. While the room evolved a little differently than the original mood board (see it here), the main elements are still there. Bold, glam, and lots of pattern.
Nursery Reveal
Before
Before and afters are always fun, so below is what the nursery looked like for my second daughter. I feel a caveat is necessary here. This nursery was pre my interest in design, pre design school, and after having two babies 22 months apart. It certainly wasn’t finished (empty walls anyone?) and it never got finished. So hold your applause judgements please.
After
And now I’m very pleased to show you the after! (All sources will be linked at the bottom)

I’ve attempted to link all original sources for you, but I have also included some substitutions if an item isn’t available online, is old, or is a unique item (vintage or handmade).
